Guni - גוני

The short film "Guni" was made by the class of 3rd year Classic Animation students in Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design, 2017. Among those students was me, an aspiring future animator.

"Guni" is part of a yearly collective of films that release every Memorial Day in Israel, each of them tells the story of a fallen soldier or a person who fell victim to a terrorist attack. The project is called "A Face. The Day. A Memory.", and it is produced by Beit Avi Chai.

This particular film is the only one done by a class of students.

I worked with another classmate on one of the scenes, using rotoscope animation. Work division wise, I did rough animation, he made the backgrounds, and we both did clean-animation and color. The videos to the right show examples of this work.
